Terms of service

Your agreement

PromoStash is operated by Akash Sahani, based in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India (“we”, “us”). These terms govern your use of the website and archive service. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

You must be at least 18 and able to enter into this agreement. If you use PromoStash for an organization, you confirm that you have authority to act for it. Contact us at hello@promostash.app.

What the service provides

PromoStash is a private archive for marketing-email research. It receives and organizes emails and provides access to compatible tools you authorize. It is not a general-purpose mailbox, an email-sending service, a complete attachment backup, or an AI model.

Features, storage allowances, and import limits are described on our pricing page and in your account. Delivery and access may also be limited to protect the service. Messages rejected because of limits, receiving preferences, or processing errors may need to be resent or imported; they are not guaranteed to be queued for later.

Your account

Provide accurate account information, keep access to your sign-in email secure, and protect your receiving address, sign-in links, and access keys. You are responsible for activity you authorize through your account and connected tools. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access. Do not share or sell account access or attempt to access another person’s archive.

Your content and permissions

You retain the rights you hold in content you add. Email authors and other rights holders retain their rights too. Saving a message does not give you permission to republish it, reuse its artwork, or disclose another person’s private information.

You give us permission to receive, store, process, display, and transmit your content as needed to provide the service and carry out your instructions, including requests from tools you authorize. This permission does not transfer ownership of your content to us. Our Privacy Policy explains handling and deletion.

Only add content you are authorized to process. Keep separate copies of anything you need to preserve. The current service does not offer full archive export or preserve all original attachments.

Acceptable use

• Do not use PromoStash for unlawful activity, infringement, harassment, impersonation, or unauthorized disclosure of personal information.
• Do not upload malware, exploit email links or credentials, probe other accounts, bypass limits, or disrupt the service.
• Do not use receiving addresses as an open mail relay, for spam, or for security-critical communications such as password resets.
• Do not store highly sensitive personal records or content that you cannot lawfully share with the service providers involved.

Plans and payments

Free and paid plans have different allowances. Pro subscriptions renew automatically at the billing interval you select until cancelled. The checkout shows the amount, currency, applicable taxes, and payment terms before you pay. Payments are handled by Dodo Payments as merchant of record, and the purchase is also subject to the buyer terms presented by Dodo at checkout.

The yearly founding price applies while that subscription remains active. A later change to pricing for new customers does not change that active subscription’s founding price. If you cancel and subscribe again, the price offered at that time applies. Taxes and currency conversion may affect the final amount charged.

We do not automatically charge per-email overages. Reaching a limit may prevent new content being saved. External AI tools may have separate fees and subscriptions that are not included in your PromoStash plan.

Cancellation and refunds

Use Settings → Manage billing to manage renewal through Dodo Payments. Check the cancellation confirmation for the date your subscription ends. Our Refunds & cancellation policy provides a 7-day refund window from your first subscription payment and explains how to request a refund.

Cancellation, account deletion, and a refund are separate actions. Deleting your account removes your archive and requests cancellation of active subscriptions; it does not automatically issue a refund. Contact us if billing remains active or you cannot use the portal.

Connected services

You choose which external tools may access your archive and what permissions to grant them. Their services, outputs, retention, and terms are their responsibility. Revoking access prevents future authorized requests but cannot remove copies already retrieved. Links and images in archived emails are supplied by third parties; review them carefully. We do not endorse every sender, linked site, or AI-generated output.

Availability and suspension

We aim to provide a useful, reliable service, but do not promise uninterrupted availability, delivery of every email, or error-free operation. Features may change as the service develops. We will give reasonable notice of material adverse changes where practicable and comply with applicable rights relating to services already paid for.

We may restrict or suspend access when reasonably necessary to address a breach of these terms, non-payment, a security risk, abuse, or a legal requirement. Where appropriate, we will explain the issue and provide an opportunity to resolve it. You can stop using the service and delete your account at any time.

Responsibility and legal rights

To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided on an “as available” basis without additional implied warranties. We are not responsible for losses caused by a third-party service or your unauthorized or unlawful use. This does not exclude responsibility that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable consumer guarantees or liability for fraud.

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to any mandatory right to bring a claim elsewhere, disputes concerning these terms may be brought before the competent courts in Mumbai, Maharashtra. Nothing in these terms takes away mandatory consumer, privacy, refund, or other statutory rights that apply to you.

Changes and contact

We will publish revisions here with an updated date and provide additional notice or seek agreement where required for a material change.
